Welcome to Mia Dezigns!Florida, Caribbean and Oriental Artist Mia is a signed artist and teacher, and has lived in the Central and South Florida area for more than 25 years. She has a BA degree in Fine Art, enjoys using many media, and has shown her work in the U.S., Canada, and the U.S.V.I. (Virgin Islands). Her main interests are nature and wildlife art subjects since her father was an artist, zoologist, and botanist who traveled all over the world. She also has an interest in the Far East, and has studied Chinese and Japanese culture and language. She has been teaching art classes at the elementary, high school, university, and adult level for the past ten years. For those of you who live in Southwest Florida, or regularly visit here, she offers various art classes that are scheduled throughout the year. Individual, customized lessons can also be arranged. She even offers Butterfly Gardening Classes, and is still very active with the Butterfly Sanctuary, where her studio was originally located.
